Holidays of Obligation in the Catholic Church

These holidays are special feasts that are not on Sundays and Catholics are required to attend Mass.

- Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God (January 1)
- Ascension of the Lord (When celebrated on Thursday during the Easter season)
- Assumption of Mary  (August 15)
- All Saints' Day (November 1)
- Immaculate Conception (December 8)
- Christmas (December 25)
